Sears TV, B+ to high!
Model # 774-15580, "Prima" Model # Q3250. BSC29-N1111 flyback was
arcing, replaced it, then R313 1.0 ohm fusible burnt open, almost right away, after startup, & found vertical IC N301 was bad, now the set5 works great, but the B+ while running is 143 volts dc, it's the usual 90 vdc at standby. Is this normal, for this set? Thanks, Dani. |

Thanks, Dani. if in doubt i would replace the caps in the power supply, as these can often lead to excessive b+ if bad. try eserviceinfo.com and look for the schematic. -B |
