Default need help id'ing regulators

my projector (TV) got zapped by lightning last night and i think i
have found the problem ( i hope) . there is a row of regulators
along
the back of the power supply board. one of them was destroyed by the
lightning, and i am trying to use the process of elimination to see
which one it is. i can't find any info on any of the part numbers on
the net. if i could fiqure out which one it is, i might could find a
substitution. on the heat sink, it has the following info printed.
+385v=.85a
+3.3v=1.5a
+5v=3.5a
+13v=1.0a
the part numbers i can read are as follows.

on one regulator..
17n80c3
in smaller print, g00624

on another...
b 1968
f20l60u

on another
gbu806
6227

maybe if i can identify which one of the regulator go with what
voltage circuit, i can fiqure out what the 4th one is and find a
suitible replacement. the busted regulator is one of the 2 smaller
regulators. if i can get
one of you guys to look up these numbers, i might can identify the
blown regulator. thanks in advance

I can't quite figure out what your question is, Eddie, or the basis of
your diagnosis, or even your approach to the problem. Maybe a little
more clarity would elicit some suggestions from the techs in here.

i don't have a schematic. i have 4 regulators for 4 different
voltages. i gave the part numbers for the three i can read. the
fourth is burnt. i gave the voltages amp draw of the 4 circuits on the
power supply. i thought some one could look at the part number,
compare them to the voltages and amps and make an educated guess as to
which voltage circuit the blown regulator was blown. knowing which
voltage and amp rating, it would seem a suitible replacement could be
found.

a bit more info on the burnt component. i cleaned it and can see
partial numbers. here they are. somebody tell me what it is.

nk80zfp
k121 v3
chn637

remember, they may be partial numbers. first digit or two may be
missing.

If one was destroyed it should be apparent. Alternately have you
measured to see if the listed voltages (or close)are present? i.e.

+385v
+3.3v
+5v
+13

How can you possibly tell? Ouija board?

Maybe if you were to post some pictures of the whole board and close ups
of the board and the parts in question.

Some other usefull information would be make model number, actual
symptoms of the tv (for example shooting sparks out the back, blown fuse,
etc) Things like this might get you some help. Otherwise you could just
look up the part numbers for yourself or buy schematics/service manual
for it...

geez...did you even read my other posts? if i had a schematic, i would
look at it. model # is posted above. the symptom is...it doesnt work.
if i told you sparks were shooting out of the back...now what is that
really telling you from a troubleshooting standpoint. the regulator
was busted when the lightning ran in on it. tell me where to get a
schematic for the projector and i will go there.

with a simple google search two of these three were quickly identified,
though I can't say for sure they are what you are looking at which is
where a picture would be handy...

on one regulator..
17n80c3
in smaller print, g00624

on another...

on another
gbu806

http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/data...8/GBU806.shtml

The unidentified middle one could be a transistor, but it is hard to say
for sure since the part number does not seem to be "valid". Once again a
picture would be of use to determine the part and to see the associated
circuitry.

Since you seem not to know these basic concepts, you might try to find a
replacemnt board instead....
