Bad TRS- jack on computer amplifier
I have a small type TRS stereo jack (phone jack) for my Monsoon amplifier
that goes to the computer. One of the speakers is dead if it's plugged in all the way into the subwoofer/amp. If I pull it out a bit to the first "stop" sometimes both speakers will work, but it's spotty. Why do these jacks tend to go bad (I've probably bumped it with my foot to often)? Can it be fixed or should I just get a new plug and jack? --Art |
