Default "Plgn Motor Error" on "TI Microlaser Plus" printer

Ancient but it was working a year ago.

Now, after a couple minutes, the red ERROR LED comes on with a high pitched
beep and the LCD displays something like "Plgn Motor Error". Then, only
powering off gets it to reset. Eventually, it may go through and print
a page.

Thanks for any info, though it's probably going to become parts.....
