Hi,

A few days ago I had accidently dropped my handset Nokia 6101.I bought
this handset from Singapore.

I started facing 2 problems with this mobile:

1. The handset before the accident used to give a good standby time of
3 to 4 days. But after the accident, its battery discharges itself
within a single day or so.

2. The handset is a clamshell phone. The Front LCD panel appears to be
broken - only minimal text is displayed with dark colors.

The phone is out of its warranty period.
The service center has refused to service the phone stating that it is
a foreign made phone whose software(firmware??) is not available here
in India.

Now I am trying to fix this phone myself.

Please help me in this matter.

Contact the place where you purchased it in Singapore to find out
where to ship the phone and send your money to have it repaired.
