Default Landice L7 treadmill with an L5 error code

I have an Landice L7 treadmill that is give me a L5 error code.
Anyone have any idea what this error code means? The machine does not work now. Not many hours on it but it is out of warrenty so it looks like I might have to swallow the repairs.
Hopefully not too much money anyway
Thanks for any suggestions that you might be able to give me.
Ben
