Default Insignia IS-TV040919 bright blue screen with retrace

I aquired one of these, and im not very familiar with this brand.

all the functions are ok, i have sound, but the raster has a bright blue
screen with heavy retrace. no picture.

the TV appears to be all digital except for the scan circuitry.

im familiar with the RCA and magnovox, etc brand, but not this cheap jap
knockoff.

any ideas?

nevermind i fixed it.

the blue output transistor C to E was shorted.


you know what happens when you ground a cathode. the gun runs full-tilt
boogie.


replaced and all is well.
