AR5 tweeter problems.
I have an old set of AR5's from 1969. One of the
speakers makes a raspy/distorted noise on playback of hi frequency sounds. I have noticed that at the base of the paper cone there is a connective seal, like glue. On the tweeter in question there are some open gaps in the glue. Could this cause the distortion? Can I glue this area to help secure the cone and reduce distortion? |
