LCD Display Almost Monochrome
Picked up a cheapo 15" LCD monitor (Proview) today at a yard sale. It
starts up OK, but the desktop display shows everything in shades of blue only. I can see text and icons fine, images are all monochrome also. No white, red, green, anything else. The OSD control box displays in white, red, and a deep blue. OSD works to adjust contrast and brilliance, but color adjustment for red and green does nothing., The plug that connects to the PC seems to have all its pins in place, opened the back of the monitor and reseated the video connection, Still blue. Tried it on another computer, still blue. I'm thinking it might be the cable from computer to monitor? Any ideas? Thanks. |
