Default i have this humming niose coming from my rechargerable lamp

i bought this rechargerble lamp and all it does is make noise after a
few seconds of use the anoying part is it discharges quickly

i built this computer and it displays annoying posts that don't really ask a
question and do not use proper punctuation

Are the batteries good? "Quickly" is subjective - only lasts a mere
100 hours? What frequency (pitch) is the hum? Only makes noise when
charging discharging or both?

Probably has Ni-Cads and they didn't read the instructions to fully
charge them!
