NEC LCD broken - diy repair?
Hello, I got a defective NEC LCD 1510 monitor given, problem: When attaching to any computer the readiness LED on green changes - no picture. This LED mostly remains however yellow - likewise no picture, one calls the OSD there is a distorted picture and OS-SINCE-SHOWS with a line frequency (e.g. 42 kHz) V: however NONE. Prehistory: A user has probably the plug-on VGA cable by force tried on to attach and thereby at the cable a few pins broke the monitor off. (monitor no own soldered cable has to separate only a "female" VGA socket) Can it be that by the impact solder tacks are broken? The monitor nevertheless gets no "vertical" signal. Do you have any idea, what is broken? Greetings Maximilian |
