My question is can i simply swap this flasher for the Hazard light flasher, in my car so when i activate the hazard switch it will not make my signal lights operate in a on..off..on...off fashion but in the wig wag fashion? for roadside construction purposes. If so how do i go about doing this?

Thanks for the help,

Of course not. The hazard flasher connects both front and rear lights
together, you have to do some simple wiring to get it to work. Break
them apart and wire each to the alternating flasher (WIG WAG easy for
law enforcement to understand)

The data they show is unclear to me as to the number of connections to
the flasher but I assume it has 4 or possibly 3 - similar to auto
relay connectors - your hazard flasher may only have 2 or possibly 3.
