A helium balloon drifted to my tv and touched the screen and I assume
from running across the carpet it built an electrical charge and when it touched the screen the tv went out for a second and came back on, but now the remote does not work and the power light on the tv no longer comes on, this sucks because now I can't even switch inputs so the dvd player works how can I fix this? |

THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN FIX THIS IS BY NOT PLAYING WITH BALLOONS LIKE A HOMOSEXUAL. |

First try unplugging the set from the mains for about a minute to let
it reset. If this does not help, it is possible that there has been some damage to the controler area, or the EPROM information has some damage. If this is the case, you will have to take the set to a tech who is set up to be able to reprogram the EPROM if need be, also to troubleshoot the set. Jerry G. |
