isnt it time to retire this unit?

retire a Vocalmaster? ..... heck no.... these units from the 70's were
terrific.... built like a brick, low tech, will run 24/7 without a
problem. No fancy functions, just basic, good quality sound and
reliable operation.

We used to call them either 'vocal mashers' or 'vocal disasters' back
then. Of course that had more to do with the quality/design of the
speakers than the amp unit....
