The DVD loads ok , it write on the display READING, makes some noise
continously and nothing happens. The function switch, switches OK
bewteen AM, FM, AUX, AUX DIGITAL. Tuner works ok. The DVD is on top and
plugs directly on the main bottom board tru 2 big plugs. I would need
extension cable to make measurements. The customer says that it get
quite hot on top. It doesnt do that here ??? This is about 3 years old.

The customer brought this mini unit. He did not bring the other unit
that plugs at the back SP-PWV70 which is ????.

Can anynone help ???

Does it read CDs OK ? If so, then there's a better than even chance that the
laser is u/s
