Kenwood mini stereo model:KR-595,year:Jan 1996.Shuts off right away,I
replaced Q20=2SB1470BT 2 years ago then earlier this year in Feb.Now the unit is back with Q20 being open base-emitter (I assume it's those pins) and this time R102=22 ohm,1/4w and R100=22 ohm,1/4w measure fine but appeared to be slightly burnt. Anyone have any common repair tips for repeated failure of Q20? as I have used an original Panasonic generic transistor from: http://www/globalsemi.com as they state in their paperback catalog that their semiconductors are original Japanese and not overstamped Chinese knockoffs. Thanks in advance for replies.
