Hi John,
I tried to make sense of all the info present of the pictures to guess
what this could be but...
not much success.

What's that?

It's a sampling head from an Iwatsu 12 GHz sampling oscilloscope,
basically a 30 ps sample-and-hold. The little pill package all glopped
with solder is the SRD that generates the sampling impulse. The
sampler itself is most likely a dual schottky diode half-bridge.

I collect old sampling heads, among other weird things. I'd post more
pics, of other heads, but Mr Shepherd might get upset.

Please post away!

Mr. Shepherd seems to think that he's the new sheepdog of abse and
can force whom he considers to be errant members of the flock into
conforming to his view of how things should be.

Yeah, and next step he's going to threaten to killfile me. I don't
know that I'd be able to bear the shame.

John

What shame? I can't wait. Then he won't be posting his crap replies
to my messages.

You call eight posts of a stupid donkey picture "messages"?

I call it immature CRAP. Far "CRAPPIER" than anything I wrote in
response to your most recent lack of grasp of modern technology.

Get a life. You waltz in here, in the middle of something that has
been brewing for years and try to throw your weight around. No one
cares. You aren't important, and you have yet to post anything useful
to anyone but yourself.

Sorry, chump, but you and your stupid donkey posts had ZERO importance.

It matters not what you think was or was not brewing, nor for how long.

I happen to dislike the guy too, for his US hating attitude, but idiots
like you give him a reason to hate some of us.

It also matters not what you think I may or may not have contributed to
the group.

You brag so much on yourself, it would seem that you are only important
to yourself.

So, right back at ya, stupid ****.
