that attachment is not something i have ever seen https://austin.craigslist.org/tls/5939179387.html i would guess it is for sawdust but maybe it has some other purpose |

Might be double sided and used to Straighten the ways. The
lathe might not be bed strong without them. Need to get more views of the lathe to determine. Maybe another site will have it.
