hand hewn beams follow up
Fine Woodworking has a clip with Roy Underhill where he shows how hand hewn
beams are roughed out. He only does a short section but you get the idea. After what he shows is done a broad axe would be used to dress things up a bit. http://www.taunton.com/finewoodworking/index.asp and search for Roy Underhill. |
