ping Robin Lee: Pop WWing mag?
In the process of perusing this month's Popular Woodworking I came
across an entry in "tricks of the trade" about punching shallow holes in the handle of a hammer to improve the grip. Signed by one Rob Lee of Ottawa. Is that you? Did you get lotsa Garret-Wade goodies for having it published? anxious in CA, jo4hn no butts about it. |

Hi Jo4hn - Yup - was submitted in my name, (I had told the story to Chris Schwarz of PWW)...but the loot went to charity... Cheers - Rob (we'll be selling the holes later, so it'd be a conflict of interest.. ) |

But don't be "marketing myopic" - consider the spin-off line: dousing sticks for finding the holes; unobtainium based holes; metric/imperial hole converters, etc. Yur' welcome! |
