shaded pole maybe
rescued a fan and applied a small amount of tlc
but it has slowstartupitis once it gets going it is fine and is quiet and moves air it has little to no torque and is not designed to have much but at start it seems to not have enough maybe something is misaligned or some other problem make your guesses this is a cheap three speed fan but it looked new when i got it and it had a loose wire so naturally it was discarded |
