wood laptop case cover
thinking that it might be difficult to make by hand and cnc is the way
to go to get a precise fit wood selection would also be critical anyone tried to make something by hand like this or at least without a cnc shrinkage might be bad for the laptop introducing some strain relief into the design would be needed like a flexure the other aspect is the laptop material aluminum might be easier to get a nice fit where as plastic might be harder to get a good fit due to less stiffness plastic might not hold up to the strains of the wood shrinking or expanding due to moisture |
