Picked up a few things at garage sales this weekend.
Rockler cookies $2 Jet Corner spring clamps $3 #3 Stanley Bailey probably 1960's or so $3 There are 2 little blocks in the package, they look to raise the clamp off the bench if you were to screw them down. That's what I figure, not sure why you would. Anyone have any other idea what they are for? Janome Sewing machine $10.. figured I might need to do some sewing ... Figured I can make stuff that requires fabric.. not sure but for $10 I couldn't turn it down.. been looking for a long time for a good one. When I used to compete with gliders I really wish I had one to make protective sleeves. Can do the same for some of my more valuable tools that don't get used much out of jeans and that closed cell foam.. Make some bags to keep the tools oiled and prevent rust. This basic machine has every freaking stitch... Finally can repair my damn buttons that keep coming off my shop clothes.. This is way cool. Brother P Touch $2, newer model with bigger keyboard and more capabilities than my original one. Can do mirror print for putting labels on the inside of glass. Might give this to my son. Gotta say, I love garage sales when you walk away with some good deals. Last few weeks I've been empty handed. -- Jeff |
