A very sad story. Man is the only species which fouls his own nest. It
would take the wisdom of Solomon to find a solution to this problem.

Don't see that as requiring much (as in any) wisdom; only enforcement
action is required.

Have you ever taken a look at a pigeon nest?

You've never seen a nest made by a Harpy Eagle, then. The bird uses bird
**** to glue the branches together.

That would be whom...

Authority or action doesn't take Solomonian-level wisdom is the point;
all it would take is resolve. Now, that there isn't any resolve or that
the powers-that-be are corrupt is probably so; still it's not wisdom
that's lacking...

Resolve by who? Are you suggesting that the US invade Madagascar to
save the rosewood? Or that the UN implement a naval blockade? Or what?

By whom...

I was only suggesting (no, stating, actually) it's not a question of
"wisdom of Solomon" being required.

You remind me of the cartoon of the English teacher shouting out the
window to the grammatically challenged owl. The owl was going "to who,
to who", and the English teacher was shouting back "to WHOM, to WHOM".

I was only suggesting (no, stating, actually) it's not a question of
"wisdom of Solomon" being required.

The wisdom is needed in order to find a way to resolve the matter that
doesn't involve military action. You're basically trying to coerce a
bunch of criminals into giving up an immediate payoff for long term
profitability. And their minds don't work that way.
