Default O/T: Flash: Mud Bugs Sighted

Flash:
Dateline: Huntington Beach, Ca

Mud bugs have been sighted in Huntington Beach.
Let me repeat:
Mud bugs have been sighted in Huntington Beach.

For those not familiar, H/B is in Orange County, home of the John
Birch Society as well as being known as "Surf City USA".

About the biggest ethnic food choices after the standard offerings are
Mexican, Chinese and Japanese.

A little bit surprising finding Cajun in SoCal,especially H/B.

Damn Lew, you went and made me home sick. Grew up on the beach next to
the pier. In those days the only thing we ate on the beach was Strips
from that snackbar next to the pier. We would go to summer school at
HB High and be body surfing by noon. Once we had wheels we it was
surfing before school and then after. Life was really good in those
days. I know the last time I was in town I didn't even recognize the
place. The Golden Bear was gone, there were 5/6 story apartment
building and the sound of the oil pumps were all but gone. There is a
tear in my eye.
