We moved into our newly built Fl home in Jan. Twice I have noticed
what looks like a pumpkin seed in the corner of the wall. Tonight I
found some on the lanai, also in the corners. They look like a
somewhat fuzzy pumpkin seed. Anyone know what they are? I had
originally thought it was a loose piece of sheetrock, but I guess
not. Help!

You've recently moved to Florida, and now you've seen an INSECT! Don't get
too excited -- you ain't seen nothing yet. Within a week or two you should
start seeing the love bugs, whose dead bodies will eat the paint right off
your car, and if you're near the water you'll be sweeping up the midges (aka
"blind mosquitoes") with a snow shovel. --
