You know, some folks have to keep going forward. Out to the great
unknown, that's where the fun resides. Personally, I wouldn't want to go to my grave, retirement, or anyplace else thinking I left too much on the table. I applaud his move. Comfort zones are for weenies. Robert |

Believe you me, if I didn't need the money, I would stop slugging those damned countertops regardless of their profitability. I have to play to pay to play. I am not sure why he did what he did, but the fact that he made that decision is indeed to be applauded, for the courage alone. Comfort zones are for weenies. No position except she hates liberals (we who supposedly seldom thank God for much, thank God for her hate: it is a benison). She thinks it would be fun to A bomb Iran. She stole my horse's face, too. I do get curious about the tone of some of this right wing fervor: it is either hate-filled, a la Ms Coulter and Limbaugh, or loud and spit spraying like Hannity and O'Reilly. Sort of an "I got mine, f&&ck you who might want some of it to run the country." In the process, their cohorts found and run companies like Blackwater. No thanks. |

I mean, what kind of ass would do something like that? todd Would he have the class to apologize? Oh, well that just makes it all better, doesn't it? Tell me something and be honest. If what Obama said had been uttered by a prominent Republican, would they even have a job right now? Would the Shriver family and the Special Olympics be all understanding? Hell, no, they wouldn't. There would be a giant **** storm and every major network would have it as their top story until a resignation was extracted. But I guess we can't be that hard on Obama. In fairness, he didn't have his teleprompter to read from. In the process, their cohorts found and run companies like Blackwater. No thanks. Let's see. Limbaugh...check. Hannity....check. Ann Coulter...check. O'Reilly...check. Congrats. You hit almost all of the talking points. If you could have worked in Pat Robertson, you would have gotten a free turn. Feel free to pick a prize from the top shelf. todd |

I wasn't offended, but Todd is correct. The networks would still be feeding on it if Bush had said it. I notice Obama gave up his teleprompter at the last news conference. However, there was a large screen TV at the back of the room he was reading his speech from. I love it. . . :-) |
