Adam Cherubini makes furniture in 18th century styles using tools typical of
the period. In addition to building furniture, he also makes tools, and
serves as a Contributing Editor for "Popular Woodworking Magazine". Several
of his articles were reprinted in "Hand Tool Essentials", Popular

W. Patrick Edwards' 30 year love affair with wood and furniture has led him
on a fascinating quest of discovery. The pursuit has allowed him to
continually explore and evolve in the worlds of conservation, creation,
teaching, consulting, and passionate appreciation of pre-industrial
furniture. With the millennium he realizes that the 18th century is rapidly
disappearing into the past and the process of working by hand is in danger
of being forgotten. He believes that the wisdom and experience of the

Jim Tolpin has worked professionally in woodworking as a custom cabinetmaker
for nearly 25 years. In the last 14 years, he has turned his attention to
writing about general woodworking, cabinetmaking and home design. Jim has
produced articles for most of the major woodworking magazines including Fine
Woodworking and Fine Homebuilding, a regular column in CabinetMaker and
Woodshop News magazines and feature articles for Coastal Living magazine. He
has written eleven books in that period of time that have together sold
about three-quarters of a million copies. Jim is the immediate past
president of a technical writer's trade organization: The National
Association for Home and Workshop Writers. Most recently, he helped found
the Port Townsend School of Woodworking (www.ptwoodschool.com) where he is
currently offering courses on traditional woodworking techniques. You can

Molly Winton, www.turningmaven.com, has been turning wood since 1998, and
delving into various surface enhancement techniques (primarily pyrography
and branding), since 2003. She has a strong commitment to form, and believes
this is essential above all else. Teaching and sharing turning and
enhancement techniques is also a passion, and when her busy family life
allows, she travels to various clubs and symposiums to share her work.
Inspirations for enhancements have been derived from an interest in Native
American art, as well as primitive, prehistoric, cave art. Her work has been
a part of many exhibits, and is available through various galleries.
