Default Woodtek 10" Jointer

Just got a new Woodworkers Supply catalog and found the 10" jointer. I
know there has been a significant amount of interest lately in the
affordability and desirability of 8" jointer. This 10" jointer looks to be
competitive, except for the 900 pound shipping weight. It would be nice to
not have to rip and glue up wide boards.

Has anybody seen or tried one of these?

Hiya Mark,
I haven't looked at that specific item but have perused the Woodtek tools
while visiting my local WW Supply before. They seem to be well made in
general but I've never used one. It seems they are targeting the cabinet
shops around town with their advertising.
Cheers,
cc
