Re cordless drill problem
Thanks. On close inspection of the brushes they seem to be, based on wear, contacting only at the ends pf the ( shape that matches the armature.

Easy to solve if you can wrap a piece of sand paper around the armature and then rotate it while applying a little pressure on the brush. This will match the radius of the brush to the radius of the armature. Clean the dust off before use. -- Roger Shoaf About the time I had mastered getting the toothpaste back in the tube, then they come up with this striped stuff. |

They're are new brushes,they need bedding in and usage will bed them into the armature in time,or keep your finger on the trigger for a few minutes then let the motor cool before having another go. -- Sir Benjamin Middlethwaite |

Another way to get the aramture shape( concave )is to file the shape with
