Default Re cordless drill problem

Thanks. On close inspection of the brushes they seem to be, based on wear, contacting only at the ends pf the ( shape that matches the armature.

Easy to solve if you can wrap a piece of sand paper around the armature and
then rotate it while applying a little pressure on the brush. This will
match the radius of the brush to the radius of the armature.

Clean the dust off before use.

They're are new brushes, they need bedding in and usage will bed them into
the armature in time,or keep your finger on the trigger for a few minutes
then let the motor cool before having another go.
