Default Chisels: CI Fall & Footprint

Anyone in the group had any experience with either of the subject
chisels? CI Fall is supposedly a Swedish manufacturer though I find
nothing on them despite an extensive web search. Footprint is a
British company with their own website.

I own an old Noortgetag (sp) and it has been a superb chisel. Though
it is made in Holland the blade is stamped "Swedish Steel." I heard
Noortgetag had been taken over by Irwin. Don't know what sort of
steel Irwin is using but if it is anything like their other products
it is probably mediocre.

No but Footprint are an old and reputable manufacturer,
see he

and from that site:

Footprint tools have always been the choice of those seeking top quality,
workmanlike tools and they have a well deserved reputation for long lasting,
good value, no nonsense pieces of equipment. Take these chisels as an
example, a high carbon steel blade is put through a carefully controlled
hardening and tempering process to produce steel with the best possible
grain structure to take and retain a good edge. The large bolster is fitted
with a shatterproof cellulose acetate handle. In comparative tests the
Footprint always performs very impressively, a chisel for both fine work and
use in arduous conditions.
