Freud FT2200VCEP diffs with FT2200EP
I see Rockler is advertising the Freud FT2200VCEP router. Anybody have
any idea what the difference between this router and the FT2000EP is? I couldn't find any information on Freud's (marginal) website. Thanks. Jeff |

I don't understand the point you're trying to make. I didn't mention
'cutting' vs. 'power' tools is my original post. Why the big fuss? And to your argument that a router *isn't* a power tool...pull the plug out of the wall and see what happens. :-) Also, FYI...Freud customer service got back to me earlier today and said the only difference between the two routers is cosmetic. He never said a router wasn't a power tool. In fact, he never mentioned a
router. What he is saying is that Freud makes good cutting tools, not good power tools. His opinion. I have never even seen one so wouldn't know. "JJ" wrote in message oups.com... I have the first release of the big freud plunger. so old it's in blue
plastic, not the current grey, it's single speed and non- soft start. it has been a solid reliable workhorse for me. |

snip this n that about Freud
I don't know about heavy use, but for moderate use, the Freud 3.25 hp plunge has been very good to me. D'ohBoy |
