DoD Identifies Marine Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the death of two Marines who were
supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Gunnery Sgt. Justin R. Martone, 31, of Bedford, Va.

Gunnery Sgt. John D. Fry, 28, of Lorena, Texas

Martone died March 7 and Fry died March 8 from improvised explosive devices
in Al Anbar province, Iraq. Martone was assigned to 9th Engineer Support
Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force,
Okinawa, Japan. Fry was assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd
Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
