Fence Alignment Changes when moved
I have a General 50-220 that I just assembled. After checking alignment
of mitre to blade (within .003from both mitre slots) , I checked the General T fence. Was heeled in about .020 so I adjusted to .003 heel out. Now for the problem. The intitial adjustment was made from about a foot right of the blade. The more I move the fence towards the blade (left) the more the heel out becomes. When I have the fence one inch from the blade the heel out becomes .010. Something must be twisted, most likely the box rail or hanger. Any suggestions? |
