How do you mistake "constituents' (i.e. voters) for 'developers', who may or may not have a professional relationship with a necesaty number of local politicians? Or can you, contrariwise, produce in your locality a dominant number of voters who would prefer to walk to work (regardless of distance) rather than drive their status-mobiles? LOL! I suggest that in your locality people vote for that which immdiately benefits them, in short, good roads.
