If they close properly and tightly they are all good.
Granted they all had to be no quick release.
Clean them up, wax the rods and you should be good.

Thank you. I need a vise to put on a 3" thick bench top I plan to build out
of SYP.
I'll go take a look at these in person and see if they might be compatible.
I realized after I first posted that most of these seem to by 6" by 8".
I'm curious to see how heavy they are! Thank you for the clean-up tips!
