Default Opinions - Mastercraft Mitre Box?

Any opinions on the following:

http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortmen...rtment=primary

Mastercraft Mitre Box

Cast-aluminum frame with fence
Mitre angle lock from left to right in degrees
Holding clamps
Index scale
Heavy-duty saw with blade
Fine-tooth saw blade
Pivot arm

$54.99

Anyway, I have read that the plastic box ones are not really any
good and found this metal one. Seems like a good one to me,
but then again being a novice, what do I know. LOL!

Want to use it to cut small squares, rectangles, etc...

So, is this a good one? Any alternatives?

Thanks & regards,

James

It's decent if you want to cut wood. It's a waste if you want
to cut metal, the reason I bought it (( This thing goes on sale
regularly, bought mine last year for $24.95 I have no use for it so
if you happen to live in the Hamilton, Ont area drop me a line...

Thanks!

No plans to cut metal so it should do.
