Modular Tool Rest System for Jet 1014 Mini?

Can anyone comment on the Modular Tool Rest System that
Lee Valley has?

As I will be doing mostly bowls, vases, boxes, etc... I want to get
a curved toolrest. An external and internal I gather.

Am also considering having a replacement straight rest handy as
I have read a lot on the problems a lot of people have had with
the Jet supplied cast rest breaking easily.
