Ralph,

This guy might be a source for faceplates or even an adapter that would
go from your 3/4" x 10 to 1" x 8. http://www.wbnoble.com He is the guy
who made the faceplates I've shown at the meetings. I think he can do
all sorts of machining.

The guy whose web page I have mentioned several times, Darrell Feltmate,
is: http://www.aroundthewoods.com He has several articles on making
things that are useful around the shop. We talked about his sharpening jigs.
