Default Buffing System

Jimbo - go back to Beall and buy their spindle. It has a tapered end
to fit inyour headstock drive, and the other end is dimpled for your
tailstock revolving center. It has nuts and stuff to position the
disks along the shaft.
This works well for smaller items, but for larger bowls - - you'll need
to change 'em out either on the lathe or on a motor.

Would 3 pieces of 1 in. diameter aluminum rod with the ends threaded
with a 3/8-16 (to hold the buffing pad) and screwed together be
sufficient to hold all 3 wheels?

Or I am open to other suggestions too!

Thanks,

Jim

Default Buffing System

They specify on their buffing page and on "3-On Lathe Mandrell" spindle
system that "the buffs included with the standard Wood Buff Kit will not
work"
