Follow-up to Nara Wood
Thanks again to Andy and Leo. The Tung oil worked out great and has the old
Nara carving looking like new again. The mother-in-law should like it........Joel |

Hi Joel
It's nice to get a reply back, good or bad. If you wait a couple of months the tung oil should be all polymerized, and you should be able to give it a nice buffing to bring out the woods grain and luster. Also it's a lot easier to keep it good looking, than to try restoring it when you maybe inherit it later on. Have fun and take care Leo Van Der Loo |
