It's nice to get a reply back, good or bad.

If you wait a couple of months the tung oil should be all polymerized,
and you should be able to give it a nice buffing to bring out the woods
grain and luster.

Also it's a lot easier to keep it good looking, than to try restoring
it when you maybe inherit it later on.
