Default Toronto Wood Turners

I have to go to Toronto for a couple of days next week. Anybody recommend a
large tool store where I might see the Vicmar and/or Oneway lathes?

I don't know about stores where you can see lathes, other than to
suggest contacting Atlas Tool & Supply (downtown) to see what they
have in the sto 416-598-3553 (sorry, don't know if they have a
website or not.) For tools and other supplies, the various Lee Valley
stores are always worth a look, though. http://www.leevalley.com/
- there's a store at each end of the city.

Sorry I can't be more helpful - new to woodturning, so I don't know
all the local places (yet!)

Well Bill you could maybe make time for a visit to Oneway. They are in
Stratford On. and is about 1 hour west of TO down the 401 highway. I
would suggest you give them a call first.

Hi Bill

Looks like the Toronto area turners are to busy to answer your question

I live in SW Ontario, approx. 2 hrs drive SW on the 401 (London) and
have no connection with anyone from Toronto, however I have a link here
that might give you some of the info you want.

It's the best I can do for you right now.

Have fun and take care
