£20 biscuit jointer at Netto

It's not as refined as the Ferm (!) from Screwfix. It's a bit more plasticky, the adjustment didn't seem as easy and, IIRC, it doesn't have the rubber insert on the face plate to grip the workpiece, but it does the job OK. Having compared them I was glad I'd got the Ferm at =A335ish (which was about the most I could justify for the limited times I use it) but the twenty quid Netto seems like a decent enough deal. It should be accurate enough to join two logs together to make a treehouse for the kids, although they should be warned that the biscuits are not the chocolate variety. -- ..andy To email, substitute .nospam with .gl |
