Default OT-ish PIR Socket

Off Topic - ish

I'm looking for a plug in socket, which has a PIR Sensor built in. The idea
is this plugs into a 13amp wall socket and the appliance (in this case an
LED Sign Board) plugs into the PIR Unit, and is switched on when movement is
detected.

At the moment the signboard is operated by a plug in timer which is set to
operate the signboard during times when the room in which it is placed is
used. A PIR switched system would work better in my opinion.

Had a Google, but so far haven't found anything.

Any suggestions?

Could you not DIY something - maybe just get a PIR and some kind of
enclosure. You could wire a bit of flex with a plug on the end into the PIR
and then either hardwire the LED sign board inter the switched side of the
PIR or use another bit of flex and fit an extension-lead type socket on the
end (in fact, why not just cut an extension lead in half?). This would have
the added advantage that the position of the PIR could be changed for
maximum effect.
