Default wash m/c plubing into soil pipe

is it possible to plumb a wash m/c waste straight into a soil pipe.....you know the big one that goes all the way vertically up side of house....if so do i need to add a u bend at all to get rid off smells...sinks and outside drains too far away and unreachable without a LOT of wall chasing....cheers
