Default Tiling on fresh plaster

I was about to start tiling straight on to fresh plaster when someone
suggested that it should be PVA'd first - any suggestions?

Yes, it should.

And make the PVA to Water mix 50/50. That's half water and half PVA glue mixed
really well together. Make sure the glue is not the waterproof kind as well.
