washing machine bearings
Decided to change a washing machine bearing over the weekend ( as you
do) and was wondering whether it is normal practise to grease the seal where it meets the drum shaft or whether it is fitted dry? |

Dry, because grease comes off in the wash and marks the clothes. You can also rub some butter or vegetable oil on the face just to prime it though. |
