Tiling a floor
Hi, I am planning on tiling my bathroom floor which has laminate flooring
down at present. Do I need to lift this and put down plywood or could I use the laminate flooring instead of the plywood? Thanks Roddy |

Roddy 4mm would be ok, depending on the sub floor, but 6mm would be ideal.. be careful of the height of your new floor in relation to your soil pipe, you may need a flexi pan connector. RT |

RT Unfortunately it is at its highest at present so I will have to cut the plywood and tiles around the pan. Roddy |

Roddy laminate is a rough equivalent to 4mm ply +/- a bit flexi pan connectors allow about 25mm offset. worth a try ? RT |
