Installing stainless hood
Hi
We fancy a stainless chimney hood in our refurbished kitchen. I'd like to route the flue up and then right for about 300 mm. Where could I get stainless ducting to match the chimney? Are the stainless chimneys merely covers to circular flexible hoses inside? Thanks Mike |

I've just fitted a stainless one myself- it's a pyrimidal shape, and was provided with a matching telescopic chimney in the box; as you say, it was just a cover to hide the placky hose. Nothing more than a sheet of stainless steel, bent over into a square U-shape, with a couple of clearance holes top and bottom to screw into little metal brackets, already screwed to the wall.
